Create Anyway Masterclass

Create Anyway Masterclass David Limrite Jordan Blaquera 2.png

5 Days.

15 Critiques.

5 Empowerment Sessions.

All Free.

Sometimes teachers and mentors aren’t helpful when they critique our work.

They can be mean or careless when they make comments about our work. This can set us back and cause us to question our abilities and dampen our desire to create.

    I get it.

I went to one of the top art schools in the country and had some of the harshest critiques imaginable. It was brutal.

I vowed I would never be THAT kind of teacher.

I’m David Limrite, author of the book, Create Anyway. As a professional artist, teacher, coach and mentor with over 30 years of teaching and critiquing experience. I help visual artists improve their work.

I love getting feedback from David. He's passionate, articulate, authentic, respectful, and speaks to ALL of the design principles. He's everything I had hoped my college professors in art school would have been. I learn so much from him!
    ~ Pamela R., Critiqued Artist

During the free Create Anyway Masterclass, you’ll experience firsthand critiques that are professional, encouraging, laser-focused, and filled with incredible insights and guidance. (Yes, critique like this exists.)

15 lucky artists will be chosen for a Lightning Critique by me, but getting critique to improve your work is only half the battle.

If you don’t conquer the mental game of art-making, you’ll be dogged by procrastination, perfectionism and self-doubt that can stop you from creating at all.

    I get that too.

In this Masterclass, I join forces with Master Life Coach, C. Jordan Blaquera. This means you’ll receive insights, tools, and thoughtful spot-on coaching and mentoring to help you build the productive, powerful mindset of a confident creator during the Empowerment Sessions.

The Create Anyway Masterclass is going to be life-changing, art-improving, creativity-boosting goodness wrapped into 5 dynamic days that are our gift to you.

      CRITIQUE WEEK (Online)

      • Google Calendar ICS

Receive laser-focused feedback from David Limrite on your artwork (or observe) as he conducts two online critiques each day for a week.

      • The 10 critiques will also be mini-lessons on such topics as composition, color, value, shape, texture, line, edges, space, and whatever else comes up during the critiques. All in an effort to help you create more cohesive paintings.

      • Each of the two critiques will last approx. 11-14 minutes each.

      • Each participant may submit 2 pieces of artwork until Sunday, January 24th at 12pm PST.

      • Of all the images submitted, 2 pieces per day will be randomly selected for critique on each day of Critique Week (Jan. 25-29). Thus, 10 separate artists will receive a critique.

Overcome Your Creativity Obstacles: 3 Secrets Every Artist Needs to Know

Don’t miss this opportunity to supercharge your growth as an artist.

Do you go into your studio, only to find yourself tidying up (and not creating)?

Do you have unfinished paintings that you just can’t bring yourself to complete?

Have you stopped (or have not even started) submitting your work to juried exhibits and galleries (but you’d like to)?

Are you avoiding your studio and creating altogether?

While being a perfectionist can sound like a noble thing to be, perfectionism can create… Click to learn more
