CREATE ANYWAY REVISITED
“It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance… and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.”
~Henry James, Author
There is no guarantee of success in creativity.
And, yet, we create anyway.
We make stuff and we put it out there.
The universe owes us nothing.
And, yet, we create anyway.
We trust.
We accept the outcomes.
And, we keep creating.
By the way, outcomes should not matter.
In fact, it is best if you can detach from outcomes altogether.
You are still a creator, regardless of the outcome.
Failure is always a distinct possibility.
And, yet, you create anyway.
I consider myself a success as long as I show up, do what I love to do, have fun, and learn something. And, I consider myself a success as long as I remain curious, brave, courageous and steadfast in my goals as a creator.
And, as long as I continue to create anyway.
Best,
David
