A blast from the past. Another one of my favorites that continues to inspire me. “Study For New Wings”, mixed media on wood, 10”x 8” © 2016 David Limrite

“An unconscious merging of intuition, discipline, celebration and accident is what one hopes for.”
Fritz Scholder (Artist)

BE OPEN:

  • to your creations being about something you didn’t expect them to be

  • to your creations taking you places you did not expect to go

  • to heading in the direction of where you think you want your creations to go

  • to a change in motivation

  • to making necessary adjustments all along the way

  • to taking a left instead of a right

  • to taking some risks (And to being willing to fail)

  • to letting your creations take you where they want you to go (And to being curious)

  • to giving yourself permission to try things (And to having the courage to try)

  • to challenging yourself (And to never playing it safe)

  • to doing anything and everything you can to make your creations work

  • to surprises, happy accidents and discoveries

  • to personal expression

  • to emphasizing the joy of creating, rather than on achieving results

Best,

David
