WHAT ARTISTS ARE SAYING

I love getting feedback from David. He's passionate, articulate, authentic, respectful, and speaks to ALL of the design principles. He's everything I had hoped my college professors in art school would have been. I learn so much from him!

I really appreciated the coaching yesterday! The combo of Crit and Coach is marvelous. I have been in many critique sessions in my art life, but this was a first for me actually being coached- it was wonderful! I love the great team that you and Jordan are, with insightful comments and thought provoking questions. It was a masterful blend of redirecting and uncovering sabotaging thoughts and habits, all the while feeling loved and supported!

I am grateful for you and Jordan gently prodding me to turn those things right side up again- every artist should have an experience like this - thank you again soooo much!

I want to thank you with all of my heart because for me (Critique Week) was a Master Class. Thanks to your ‘Create Anyway’ I’ve started a new adventure: I paint for myself, I’ve changed the way I paint and I’ve been painting every day since. I am grateful. 🙏

Today’s talk on confidence was great.  We are all struggling with similar “head games” and negative self-talk.  I can see how Jordan’s suggested techniques can help turn this around and start a positive cycle!  How exciting to have some new tools....and it is comforting (in a strange way) to know that others deal with the same challenges.  I had no idea!

Jordan and David I want to thank you both for providing the spark that has incentivized me to take out a sketchbook and my color pencils and draw. It feels so good to just do it. It doesn’t matter at all what it looks like on the paper. What matters is that I’m feeling creative again.

I have taken classes with others. There’s nobody like you. Nobody. You are so positive in suggesting and critiquing things so that we hear, and really focusing on what our passion is, somehow finding that inspiration that we are trying to express, and in helping us do it and giving us alternative suggestions to make it better.
